On April 14 of this year, another session in the series of innovation workshops for entrepreneurs, inventors, and technology pioneers took place, focusing on the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

The workshop was led by Dr. Marcin Baron from the Department of Strategic and Regional Research at the University of Economics in Katowice, an expert in innovation and regional policy.

During the workshop, Dr. Jan Kozak, Ph.D., Professor at the University of Economics in Katowice and Head of the Department of Machine Learning, Faculty of Computer Science and Communication, presented an expert lecture titled “Information and Communication Technologies—Applications of Machine Learning.”

In addition, Mr. Jacek Kotra, Director of the “TECHNOPARK GLIWICE” Science and Technology Park, and representatives of the Silesian Entrepreneurship Center shared their experiences with us.

The goal of the workshops is to create a database of innovative technological solutions in the field of energy transition and climate neutrality. In particular, the workshops will analyze the connection between these solutions and the regional smart specializations of the Silesian Voivodeship. The workshops will facilitate closer cooperation and knowledge exchange among entities involved in the development of innovations and their broader application to support economic transformation in the Silesian Voivodeship.
