General Meeting of the Chamber's Members' Representatives
The General Assembly of Representatives of the Members of the Mining Chamber of Industry and Commerce is the highest authority of the Chamber. This body may hold regular and special sessions.
The Annual General Meeting is convened by the Chamber’s Management Board once a year, while an Extraordinary General Meeting of GIPH Member Representatives may be convened at the initiative of the Management Board or the Chamber Council, or at the request of Chamber Members holding 1/10 of the total number of votes.
- The General Assembly of Representatives of the Members of the Mining Chamber of Industry and Commerce has the following responsibilities:
- adopting the Chamber’s bylaws and amendments thereto
- adopting the rules governing the election of the Chamber’s governing bodies and President, as well as the rules of procedure for the General Meeting
- adopting resolutions regarding the Chamber's assets
- the election and removal of members of the Chamber Council and the Audit Committee
- the election and removal of the President of the Chamber
- approving the reports on the activities of the Chamber’s Council and Executive Board, including the financial statements and balance sheet
- granting discharge to the President and the Board of the Chamber
- determining the amount of the registration fee and the basic membership fee, as well as the rules for paying these fees
- establishing the rules for compensating members of the Chamber Council and the Audit Committee
- adoption of a resolution on the dissolution of the Chamber
- adopting resolutions on other matters arising from the bylaws
