Miner of the Year
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the “Mining Success of the Year 2025” competition. The aim of the competition is to recognize companies, institutions, and individuals whose activities contribute to the development of the Polish mining industry, particularly in the areas of innovation and environmental sustainability. The competition provides an opportunity to promote valuable initiatives for the industry and to recognize those who set new directions for development every day.
Competition categories:
Innovation
This category specifically covers the use in mining of a product (e.g., equipment, machinery, materials, technical solutions), technology (e.g., mining, tunneling, mine water treatment), or organizational solution (e.g., an IT system) – with innovative features and proven effectiveness.
Personality of the Year
This category recognizes individuals who, through their professional and social activities, have contributed to the development of the mining industry. The Personality of the Year is a leader who stands out for their vision, courage, and passion for the development of the Polish mining industry.
Ecology
This category specifically includes innovative measures that have significantly reduced the negative environmental impact of mining activities.
Who is eligible to enter the contest?
The following are eligible to enter the contest:
Individuals, legal entities, and organizational units that do not have legal personality.
Applications may be submitted by mining companies, as well as institutions and professional and social organizations operating in the mining industry.
The competition covers both underground and open-pit mining.
The jury of the competition
The competition jury consists of experts from the mining industry, scientists, and professionals with many years of experience in the sector. The jury includes individuals who have a deep understanding of the challenges facing the industry and are able to recognize truly exceptional achievements.
