On February 28 of this year, the first in a series of innovation workshops for entrepreneurs, inventors, and technology pioneers, dedicated to the Green Economy, took place.
The workshop was led by Dr. Marcin Baron from the Department of Strategic and Regional Research at the University of Economics in Katowice, an expert in innovation and regional policy.
During the workshop, Dr. Magdalena Dudek, Ph.D., Eng., Professor at AGH University of Science and Technology, presented a lecture titled “Selected Aspects of the Use of Green Technologies in the Economy, with Particular Emphasis on Hydrogen.”
The goal of the workshop is to create a database of innovative technological solutions in the field of energy transition and climate neutrality. In particular, the workshop will analyze the connection between these solutions and the regional smart specializations of the Silesian Voivodeship. The workshop will facilitate closer cooperation and knowledge exchange among entities involved in developing innovations and promote their broader application to support economic transformation in the Silesian Voivodeship.
During the workshops, funding opportunities for green economy projects will be highlighted, and a lecture will be presented on selected aspects of green technology applications, with a special focus on hydrogen.
