Automation applications in the copper ore mining process – Industry training for vocational education teachers

From September 30th to October 1st, we conducted a training course at BCU Górnictwa Rud 4.0, entitled “Applications of Automation in the Copper Ore Mining Process Line.” We are delighted that vocational education teachers from the Chocianów School Complex, the Polytechnic School Complex in Głogów, and the Jan Wyżykowski School Complex in Głogów want to develop their skills with us.

During the training, we expanded our knowledge of automation in the copper ore mining process line in the mining automation lab and on the conveyor belt.

On the second day of the training, participants took part in a study visit to the Ore Enrichment Plant, where, under the watchful eye of Łukasz Świżewski, head of the Automation Maintenance Department, they learned about the technological process and the control system for the equipment used in production. Participants had the opportunity to see firsthand how the advanced automation system works and learn how to maintain continuous operation in challenging industrial conditions. This is a unique opportunity to gain practical knowledge in the field of production management and modern technical solutions.
