Ladies and Gentlemen,
The 11th edition of the OSE GDAŃSK 2023 National Energy Summit is upon us. The summit will traditionally take place in Gdańsk on June 5-6, 2023, at the Museum of the Second World War. The main theme of the meeting will be: EUROPE’S ENERGY SECURITY – REVIEW OF EUROPEAN ENERGY POLICY.
For the eleventh time, we would like to invite leading representatives from politics, economics, science, and business to the Energy Summit in Gdańsk. During the upcoming edition, we will address the reorganization of European energy policy as a consequence of the war in Ukraine and the sanctions imposed on Russia. This year’s discussion will focus on current issues, including new sources of raw material supplies for Europe, the impact of sanctions on the economies of member states, the embargo on energy resources from Russia as a factor accelerating the energy transformation process, and the shift from traditional generation sources to renewable energy sources. The array of topics will include investments in green hydrogen production, further offshore development, the transformation of the heating sector, the new provisions of the Wind Energy Act, and investments in critical infrastructure. Development and innovation, as undisputed elements of building energy independence, as exemplified by the energy, fuel, and gas industries, will continue to be a key focus of the planned debates.
OSE Gdańsk offers not only an opportunity to exchange experiences but also to learn about new trends in energy, innovative technologies used in industry, and solutions to ensure energy security. During the Summit, the “Amber of Polish Energy” statuettes will once again be awarded to individuals, companies, institutions, or local governments for activities that have particularly contributed to the development of the Polish energy sector in recent years.
