Workshops on Local Socio-Economic Development in the Katowice Subregion

On July 5, 2022, in collaboration with the Marshal’s Office of the Silesian Voivodeship, we launched a series of workshops on local socio-economic development. These workshops will take place in all subregions of the Silesian Voivodeship.

The first workshop was held in Katowice, at the Silesian Hotel.

During the workshop, participants discussed the processes taking place in the Katowice subregion, transformation models, best practices, and innovative technologies. Together with the workshop facilitator, Prof. Adam Drobniak, Ph.D., of the University of Economics, we discussed projects recommended for support in the region.

The workshops are part of the “Regional Observatory of the Transformation Process (ROPT)” project, co-financed by the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund, as part of the Regional Operational Program for the Silesian Voivodeship for 2014–2020, under Priority Axis I: Modern Economy, Measure 1.4. Support for the Innovation Ecosystem, Sub-measure 1.4.3. Management and Implementation of the Silesian Voivodeship’s Regional Innovation Ecosystem—Regional Transformation.
