On April 23rd, another workshop with entrepreneurs on business transformation and diversification, titled “Effective Energy Management,” was held at Szyb Maciej Restaurant, Bistro i Turystyka.
During the meeting, representatives of the KOMAG Institute of Mining Technology – Piotr Hylla, M.Sc. Eng., Korneliusz Sierpowski, M.Sc. Eng., and Joanna Rogala-Rojek, Ph.D. Eng. – discussed topics such as::
- Practical aspects of effective energy management in enterprises, with particular emphasis on modern technologies and their real-world implementation possibilities.
- Solutions related to energy storage, the integration of renewable energy sources with corporate infrastructure, as well as consumption analysis and energy cost optimization.
- Energy transformation in the context of Industry 4.0, the use of hydrogen, and the role of digitalization and the Internet of Things in energy management.
- Case studies and topics related to energy security and cybersecurity, illustrating the current challenges and risks faced by enterprises.

The aim of the workshops is to disseminate knowledge about the socio-economic transformation process in Silesia and possible paths to diversification towards a green and digital economy, as well as to promote good practices in the area of transformation. Each meeting will be devoted to a different topic, focusing on enterprise management during the transformation process.
The workshops are part of the project entitled “Regional Observatory of the Transformation Process 2.0 (ROPT 2.0)” (Decision No. FESL.10.22-IP.02-083F/23 of the Silesian Voivodeship Board), implemented under the European Funds for Silesia 2021-2027 Programme, Priority FESL.10 European Funds for Transformation, Measure FESL.10.22 Regional Observatory of the Transformation Process – JTF, fully financed by the Just Transition Fund.
