We cordially invite you to a free workshop for entrepreneurs on business transformation and diversification, titled “Robotics, AI, and Big Data in Manufacturing Processes.”

PROGRAM
The workshops will focus on raising entrepreneurs’ awareness of the region’s economic transformation, demonstrating the practical applications of robotics, AI, and Big Data, and highlighting opportunities for modernizing production processes. Best practices and implementation examples will also be presented, and the directions for the development of the green and digital economy will be discussed.
INSTRUCTOR
The workshop will be led by Mr. Tomasz Mackiewicz, who serves as the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Research Group at the Poznań Institute of Technology. His work focuses on managing R&D projects and supporting technology transfer to the manufacturing sector. By establishing collaborations with business partners, he contributes to the practical implementation of innovative solutions. As an expert on the development of the National Development Concept through 2050, he has a tangible impact on shaping the future of the economy based on artificial intelligence and advanced technologies. Thanks to his experience collaborating with the Ministry of Digital Affairs in the Artificial Intelligence Working Group, he has strengthened his expertise in AI, which in turn translates into a greater ability to identify directions for Poland’s economic development. Tomasz Mackiewicz is a speaker at numerous events focused on the industry of the future and modern technologies.

The workshops are being conducted as part of the project titled “Regional Observatory of the Transformation Process 2.0 (ROPT 2.0)” (Decision No. FESL.10.22-IP.02-083F/23 of the Silesian Voivodeship Executive Board), implemented under the “European Funds for Silesia 2021–2027” Program, Priority FESL.10 European Funds for Transformation, Measure FESL.10.22 Regional Observatory of the Transformation Process – FST, fully financed from the Just Transition Fund. Project implementation period: April 1, 2024 – December 31, 2026. Project value: 11,420,126.06 PLN.
The workshops on June 10 of this year are the next in the second part of a series of 10 meetings aimed at entrepreneurs from the Silesian Voivodeship who have already been affected by—or may be negatively affected by—the transformation process.
The goal of the workshop series is to raise awareness about Silesia’s socio-economic transformation process and possible paths toward diversification into a green and digital economy, as well as to promote best practices in the area of transformation. Each session will be devoted to a different topic, with the focus on business management during the transformation process.
