On June 10, 2026, a free workshop for entrepreneurs from the Silesian Voivodeship titled “Robotization, AI, and Big Data in Manufacturing Processes” was held at Szyb Maciej in Zabrze. The event was aimed at companies interested in growth, business diversification, and the practical application of modern technologies in manufacturing processes.
The event focused on issues related to the region’s economic transformation, the digitization of industry, and opportunities to increase business efficiency through the implementation of robotics, artificial intelligence, and big data analytics. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the practical applications of modern technological solutions, examples of best practices, and trends in the development of the green and digital economy.
The workshops also addressed opportunities for modernizing production processes and the importance of innovation in building corporate competitiveness. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss how businesses can prepare for changes in the economy, manage processes more effectively, and leverage future technologies in their day-to-day operations.
The workshop was led by Mr. Tomasz Mackiewicz, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Research Group at the Poznań Institute of Technology. The expert shared his knowledge on managing research and development projects, technology transfer to the manufacturing sector, and the practical implementation of innovative solutions in collaboration with the business community. His experience also includes participation in work related to the country’s development priorities, artificial intelligence, and modern technologies supporting the economy.
We would like to thank all participants for their attendance, active participation, and substantive discussions. The workshop demonstrated that the topics of robotization, AI, and Big Data are becoming increasingly important for entrepreneurs who wish to develop their companies in a modern, informed manner that is tailored to the challenges of the future.
