For whom: Entrepreneurs from the Silesian Voivodeship (excluding the Częstochowa subregion)

PROGRAM

The workshop will focus on the practical aspects of effective energy management in enterprises, with particular emphasis on modern technologies and their real-world implementation possibilities. Participants will learn about solutions related to energy storage, the integration of renewable energy sources with corporate infrastructure, as well as consumption analysis and energy cost optimization. Issues related to the energy transition in the context of Industry 4.0, the use of hydrogen, and the role of digitalization and the Internet of Things in energy management will also be a significant element of the meeting. The whole will be supplemented with a case study and topics related to energy security and cybersecurity, showing the current challenges and risks faced by companies.

LEADERSHIP

The workshop will be led by representatives of the KOMAG Institute of Mining Technology:

• Piotr Hylla, M.Sc. Eng. – designer and specialist in mechatronics and electrical systems;
• Mr. Korneliusz Sierpowski, M.Sc. Eng. – head of the Unmanned Systems Department and academic teacher, full-time research and teaching assistant at the Military University of Land Forces, employed as an electrochemical calculation specialist at the KOMAG Institute of Technology.
• Mr. Grzegorz Debita – researcher with 15 years of experience in innovative projects.

The workshops are being carried out as part of the project entitled “Regional Observatory of the Transformation Process 2.0 (ROPT 2.0)” (Decision No. FESL.10.22-IP.02-083F/23 of the Silesian Voivodeship Board), implemented under the European Funds for Silesia 2021-2027 Programme, Priority FESL.10: European Funds for Transformation, Measure FESL.10.22: Regional Observatory of the Transformation Process – JTF, fully financed by the Just Transition Fund. Workshops on April 23rd. These are the second part of a series of 10 meetings addressed to entrepreneurs from the Silesian Voivodeship who have already been affected by, or may be negatively affected by, the transformation process.

The aim of the workshop series is to disseminate knowledge about the socio-economic transformation process in Silesia and possible paths to diversification towards a green and digital economy, as well as to promote best practices in the area of ​​transformation. Each meeting will be devoted to a different topic, focusing on managing a business during the transformation process.
