The “Chance for (Self-)Employment-Bis” project is a unique opportunity for individuals planning to start their own business, particularly those in the mining and mining-related industries. The initiative is aimed at individuals who meet two key eligibility criteria:
- Who can benefit from the project?
To participate in the project, you must meet both of the following conditions:
Residence or employment in one of the seven mining subregions of the Silesian Voivodeship, identified in the Territorial Just Transition Plan. These include: Katowice, Sosnowiec, Tychy, Bytom, Gliwice, Rybnik, and Bielsko-Biała.
Status of a person at risk of losing their job or dismissed after May 28, 2021, for reasons beyond the employee’s control.
- Expenses and Own Contribution
It’s worth remembering that a 5.5% own contribution must be added to the planned expenses. The subsidy covers a number of expenses necessary to start and run a business, including the purchase of vehicles. However, remember – the subsidy can only be used for the purchase of an electric car.
- What support do we offer?
The project grant allows you to finance the costs associated with starting your own business, including the purchase of essential equipment, furnishings, and vehicles, such as an electric car, which will become a valuable tool in the daily operations of your company.
- How to apply for the project?
Documents, including the application form and attachments, can be submitted within the application deadline: IN PERSON / BY MAIL / BY COURIER:
to the Project Office: Silesian Entrepreneurship Incubator Sp. z o.o., ul. K. Goduli 36, 41-703 Ruda Śląska, room 106;
to the Project Partner’s Office: Mining Chamber of Industry and Commerce, ul. Tadeusza Kościuszki 30, 40-048 Katowice, room 338.
- In the form of a letter with a secure electronic signature, verified by a valid qualified certificate.
- In the form of scanned documents via email
- (such documents must be in a zipped file and secured with a password, which will be sent in a separate email) to: rekrutacja10.20@inkubatorsl.pl, biurozarzadu@giph.com.pl
