The Rapid Growth of India’s Electronics Sector
The Indian electronics industry is currently undergoing a period of rapid growth. The sector’s growth is supported by government programs aimed at making India one of the world’s leading centers for manufacturing, exports, and technological innovation.
Key initiatives include the Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS) and the Semicon India Program, which support the development of electronic component and semiconductor manufacturing, as well as technological infrastructure.
These efforts contribute to the expansion of India’s electronics ecosystem, the increase in production and export capacity, and the creation of new opportunities for collaboration with foreign buyers of technology and components.
The international nature of the event
The previous edition of the India Electronics Expo, held in March 2026, brought together over 700 international delegates representing more than 70 countries. Participants had the opportunity to meet with hundreds of electronics manufacturers and representatives of Indian technology companies.
An integral part of the event are B2B business meetings, which facilitate direct contact between foreign buyers and Indian manufacturers, exporters, and technology suppliers. The event’s format fosters discussions regarding product supply, technology transfer, investments, joint ventures, and entering new markets.
